I believe that this ad has used the AIDCA term which consists of Attention, Interest, Desire, Credibility and Action. As you can probably tell, the ad shows a polar bear parked in garages with baffled mechanics unable to fix their mankind-caused problems. This ad visualization is very catchy, interesting and leave the audience wondering what is the message behind this campaign at the first glance. This WWF ad builds the audience's desire to stop doing things that could threaten the animal wildlife because there is no way to get them back once they are already extinct. Hence, this ad approaches society to maintain the eco system balance in order to prevent animal extinction (for example by not buying product that is made from animal skin, support organizations such as world wildlife fund as they too strive for the prevention of animal extinction except on a larger scale). This is a simple ad yet has a very deep meaning.
I completely agree with Ariel. I like how the image is portrayed and the angle that was played in the image. It attracted my attention to keep starin and studying the ad.

The reason to this is because of how the picture is taken. It is shot in a bird eye view with a very distinct play of colors that catches a person’s attention easily. Hence, people would second look at this ad and to check out what it is really all about. After all, WWF has used a very unique scenario in the picture. A polar bear getting fixed in a mechanic shop is not what you see on a daily basis. Hence, this ad works perfectly for its company/ campaign.
For first, i cant really understand what is the advertisement is about in the first place. Well, i cant even see there is a bear in the picture until Ariel metioned about it. Once i finish Aeriel's post, i understand why. This ads is tell about WWF, but its hardly to understand and it necessary to think about the content. But, if i look more detail , i can see there's a human and mechanic there, It hint to the society. This ads is good to attract the customers to think about the ads, but its hardly to understand in the first place, too sometimes for me.
Overall, i personally think is advertisement is hard to understand in the first place, it might took sometime to study, but it did attract my attention. By the way, this is a good blog post. Keep going on

At first glance, one might not be able to tell what is the ad about. But after reading the headline at the top and seeing the WWF logo, I could tell that this is an ad about nature, telling us that this is a problem humanity cant fix if animal are extinct.

On the other hand I like the angle of picture being showed in the ad and it does pique the interest of people who are wondering what this ad is about. The colors in the ad also stand out. The difference of the white polar bear and the dirty workshop signifies man's technology which benefits us but also destroys nature in the process.
